What your BMI Calculator results mean

by Pre-Diabetes Foods Pro

So, now that you’ve used our BMI Calculator, what do your results mean? Is it time to hit the treadmill or gym? Cut down on the greasy food, and increase the olive oil intake? Take a look below to find out.

BMI 18 or Below
If your BMI is 18 or under you are underweight or bordering on being underweight. There may be an underlying reason a health check may be in order. Being underweight can be just as unhealthy as being overweight.

BMI 19 – 24
If the calculation shows between these two values, it’s considered average. Closer to 19 shows that you may become underweight sometime soon – closer to 24 shows that you may become overweight sometime soon. Get rid of a few pounds

BMI 25 – 29
If your result returns a figure in between these two values now is the time to seriously consider your weight and take steps to reduce your body mass. If you are over 30 years of age you may find it harder to lose weight compared to when you were younger. Diet Solutions

BMI 30 -39
A score this high has you firmly planted in the very overweight or obese category. It is absolutely vital for your future health and for a greater life expectancy to seek a weight loss solution now. You CAN lose weight!

BMI 40 +
You are dangerously or morbidly obese – medical attention should be sought sooner rather than later. Weight Loss Program

If your BMI is too high, then it’s time to get serious about weight loss and diet. I know it’s hard to get motivated; for me, thinking about my son and how he would feel if I left this earth while he’s still young is what gets me going and helps me put down that extra piece of bread. So, if you can’t do it for yourself, please, do it for the ones you love!
