High Fructose Killer Corn Syrup: Cancer Food

I have railed and railed about the poison that is high fructose corn syrup. Finally, proof! See the following article by Maggie Fox of Reuters.

WASHINGTON — Pancreatic tumor cells use fructose to divide and proliferate, U.S. researchers said on Monday in a study that challenges the common wisdom that all sugars are the same.

Tumor cells fed both glucose and fructose used the two sugars in two different ways, the team at the University of California Los Angeles found.

They said their finding, published in the journal Cancer Research, may help explain other studies that have linked fructose intake with pancreatic cancer, one of the deadliest cancer types.

New Psych DSM Manual Shows Shrinks are the Real Crazies

"Picture of Jessica Simpson, Oh my God, I've got BBBOCD!"

Toddler tantrums…binge eating…mild anxiety depression… psychosis risk syndrome… and temper dysregulation disorder… The so-called ‘experts’ of the mind (I’m trying hard not to choke) are working on their latest Bible, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), and they’re pretty much making every known eccentricity or behavior that’s not in the minority into some form of mental disease. The foregoing are all proposed new additions.

Frankly, the way shrinks decide if something is a disorder reminds me of how they decided if you were a witch during the dark ages. Only in the dark ages they were more logical.

Brown rice may cut diabetes risk, white raises it

Weight loss is tough when you eat white rice, plus, it causes diabetes

Like I’ve said before, and most recently when I gave out some weight-loss tips, when it comes to food, “If it’s white, it ain’t right.” This study shows the dangers of white rice-diabetes-and the benefits of brown rice. Again, for your heart’s sake, for your family’s sake: if it’s not brown, put it down!

No white sugar, no white rice and no white flour-please! The white junk is hiding everywhere: in your pasta, in your coffee, in your white bread, in your pizza, your bagel, in your breakfast cereal. And especially with bread, even some so-called wheat breads have very little whole wheat flour-they must as well be white bread, so be careful.
